The new Training Zone finally inaugurated!

On Saturday, January 13, 2024, the Golf de la Grande Bastide, enthusiastically celebrated the inauguration of its brand new Training Zone surrounded by the Mayor of Châteauneuf de Grasse, the president of the sports association, the first men’s team, Members and visitors marking a significant milestone in our commitment to club development and modernization.

On this occasion, the Director of Golf and Mr Mayor highlighted the virtues of an alternative golf offer: on the one hand artificial grass responds to both issues of intensive play and the climate and environmental context (water resources and restriction of removals or regulations on the use of plant protection products).

Beginners, experienced players, professionals and teachers have unanimously attested to the qualities of the area that will become essential in their experience at the Golf de la Grande Bastide.

All were able to enjoy a cocktail prepared by renowned restaurant partner Daniel Desavie.

The day was punctuated by approach and putting competitions, workshops around the bunkers, offering the assembly a memorable golfing experience and beautiful endowments for some lucky.

Special mention goes to the Golf de la Grande Bastide teams and all those who helped make this event a success.
